10000 mu Flower Base Comprehensive Development of Xiliu Township, Chang'an
II. Project Implementation Agency
Xiliu Sub-district Office, Chang'an District, Xi'an. The office has introduced over 20 seedling tree planting enterprises, with the planting area of over 4300 mu about over 300 varieties. It has formed flower industry cluster groups elementarily.
III. Project Description
1) The project is to build a modern metropolitan agriculture demonstration zone featuring in ecological flowers. The functional area is separated into 4 parts: ¢Ù fresh cut flower production area of 1000 mu including top grade flower of 500 mu and field cut flower of 500mu; ¢Ú dried flower production area of 1000 mu including helichrysum bracteatum, rose and other fashionable flowers; ¢Û flower seed breeding area of 400 mu including facilities cultivation of 200 mu and field cultivation of 200 mu and ¢Ü sod production and seedling breeding area of 1000 mu.
2) To develop flower processing and build a 300mu processing park focusing on the storage, packaging of flower and seed, the technique, food, cosmetics, medical care and healthy care with flower as raw materials.¡¡
3) It is planned to build a park covering an area of 300 mu, integrating in commercial trade, tourism, recreation and holiday. It takes flower as medium to thrive the county.
IV. Total Investment and Cooperation Form
Total planned investment is 36.12 million Yuan including: ¢Ù land lease of 4 million Yuan; ¢Úproject construction investment of 32.12 million Yuan. The cooperation form: sole investment or cooperation.
V. Anticipation of Market and Analysis of Investment Return
Xiliu Township is located in south suburb of Xi¡¯an city, the west part of Chang¡¯an district. It is 4 km away from the entrance to bypass expressway. The highway forms three verticals and five horizontals frame. It features in flat terrain, fertile soil, perfect water and electric facilities, sufficient labor sources and simple honesty residents. Therefore, it is an agreeable place to flower and seedling. It was called hometown of flower. Xiliu Block has been included into the 2nd round urban planning of Xi¡¯an. It has great development potential.
After the completion of the project, the annual profit is estimated to be 7.585 million Yuan and the profit rate of investment is estimated to be 21%. The investment recovery period is 5 years.
