III. Project Description
Baoji Machine Tool Works is made up of Baoji Zhongcheng Machine Tool Co., Ltd., 2 subsidiary factories and 8 joint ventures. Its main products are flexible turning cell, millturning center, turning center, machining center, CNC turning machine, which come into 12 categories of 160 varieties. The equipment of the enterprise is fine and the machining and test measures are advanced. In 1999 it passed ISO 9001 Quality System Certification. In 2005, the machine tool products passed the CE Safety Certification of TUV. At the same year, the enterprise established the numeral controlled machine tool park. It covers an area of 180mu. The design of workshop is rational and the technology flow excellent and the hardware facilities are complete. In order to further develop the machine tool industry, strengthen the competitiveness of numeral-controlled machine tool, reduce the difference with foreign advanced technology, in 2007, the enterprise will take high-tech introduction as main investment projects. The high-tech introduction can be divided into pure technology introduction or the introduction of technology and product.

Total investment of the project is 60 million Yuan-100 million Yuan. Cooperation form: 1. purchase technology and products; 2 Stock participation with high-tech and high end products as capital or incorporating the company.

V. Anticipation of Market and Analysis of Investment Return
2007 is the second year of “Eleventh Five-year Plan”. A series of state policies that speed up the development of equipment manufacturing industry comes out successively. The development of the machine tool industry at a quick speed has been included into the important agenda. At the same time the demand of each industry for tool relatively increases, which supplies new opportunities for the innovation of machine tool industry. With the increase of Chinese market demand of machine tool, the great shift of world manufacturing, foreign businessmen build factory one after another and conduct localized management. It reduces the price difference of home-made machine tool and increases its market competitiveness and the competition of machine tool market of our country. It is estimated that the amplitude of machine tool market in 2007 will reach up to 15-17%.
