III. Project Description
The project is aiming at developing information source, channel encoder, MUX digital frequency syntyesizer and gamma precorrection system and building R&D base covering an area of 3000m². It is planned to introduce the key production and testing equipments.

Total investment of the project is 30 million Yuan. Cooperation form: joint venture or cooperation.

V. Anticipation of Market and Analysis of Investment Return
The Project is mainly the industrialization of technological achievements of digital broadcasting transmitters. The advantages of digital broadcasting transmitters are reflected in the following three aspects: spectrum is purified, quality of broadcasting is improved markedly; Due to digitalization, transmitter’s power consumption may be reduced substantially, 60% lower than that at present; Calculating with total power of a middle radio (200 kW), 600,000 kW electricity will be saved every year. At present, there are 130 national and provincial people's radio stations, 140 rebroadcast stations, and 3,000 local radio stations, and the existing equipments will be digitalized successively. The product adopts AAC+SBR audio compression coding technology and DRM frame structure technology; The system adopts COFDM (Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technology and grade modulation technology, which has been certified by Shaanxi Provincial Institute for Electronic Products Supervision and Inspection and Shaanxi Provincial Center for New Products and New Technologies; It passed the acceptance from the Electronic Development Fund Programme under the Ministry of Information Industry. The product has played milestone significance for development of technologies, and will form digital radio transmitters, thus achieve the industrialization. It is expected that after the digital broadcasting transmitters are industrialized, the annual sales revenue will reach up to 40 million Yuan.
