III. Project Description
Genistein has maximum functional activity among isoflavones, with pure single elements. It has weak estrogen-like effect and non-estrogen compounds. Mainly extracted from legumes, it is a natural tyrosine kinase and soybean metabolites, called phytoestrogens.
Relying upon abundant resources in Qinling-Bashan region, the Project has successfully developed new type of medicines and capsules which may prevent and treat osteoporosis. Compared with domestically similar products, it is characterized by high curable effect, low toxicity, convenient intake, low prices, and unique ingredients, so it has obtained national Class-I clinical lot and national invention patents. Now it is at Stage-II clinical study, and genistein is under production in small scale. Additionally, it has built up workshop for raw materials and preparations, installed purification equipments and auxiliary facilities. The Project plans to build 4,200 m2 GMP workshop and three TCM production lines for industrialization.
IV. Total Investment and Cooperation Form
Total investment of the project is 30 million Yuan. Cooperation form: joint venture, cooperation or technical cooperation.
V. Anticipation of Market and Analysis of Investment Return
After the completion of the project, it can produce 20 tons of genistein raw materials, 120 million of capsule and the production value will be 150 million Yuan. The market prospect is broad.
