New Area Construction of Weinan Vocational Technology College
II. Project Implementation Agency
Weinan Vocational Technology College is incorporated by former Shaanxi Provincial Chinese Traditional Medicine School, Shaanxi Province Dali Normal School, Shaanxi Province Pucheng Normal School and Weinan Agricultural School. The College has a covered area of over 700 mu, total construction area of 180,000 m2, an attached hospital, and a practice farm. It has 11000 full-time students in campus, 1114 teachers and workers. It houses 3-year junior college, 5-year junior college and 3-year intermediate school (normal school) about 48 majors.
III. Project Description
The project has been examined and approved by Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission. The project site is situated in Weihe South Bank Ecological Area in Weinan Urban Area. At present, the general planning, environment appraisal and land prejudication procedures of the project have been completed. The project is underway. The new area is 520 mu and the total construction area is 310000m2, of which office for laboratory and administration is 150000 m2, student dormitory, restaurant and logistics service center are 160000 m2. The land requisition, survey, design, school biding, comprehensive laboratory building, student flat student dining hall, logistics service center and bathing center, bounding wall of playground, warehouse, toilet, power supply project, self-reserved well water supply project, waste discharge project, forestation project, road, sports ground, communication and fire control and other infrastructure are completed in 2007-2008. The library building, comprehensive building, medicine laboratory building, art building, electronic information building, industrial laboratory building, comprehensive meeting center, swimming hall, training center, young teacher flat, janitor ¨s room, vegetable cluster cultivating center, herbal art training base, palestra (hard) and forestation project reach the design scale in 2009-2010.
It is planned to build road, forestation, power supply, water supply, heat supply and waste disposal and other auxiliary projects inside the campus.
IV. Total Investment and Cooperation Form
Total investment of the project is 480 million Yuan. The Cooperation form is joint venture, cooperation or negotiation.
V. Anticipation of Market and Analysis of Investment Return
After the project is completed, the students in campus can reach over 15000. Including the school-owned business and short term training income, the annual income can reach up to 70 million Yuan. The profit of 30 million Yuan can be realized and the profit rate of investment is 8.31%.
