III. Project Description
Founded in 1958 and located in Xianyang City of Shaanxi Province, Shaanxi Huaxing Wireless Equipment Factory is one of three electronic component production bases of China. The factory mainly produces quartz crystal materials and components based on piezo technology and electronic ceramics materials, resistor capacitor units, sensing components, ceramic parts, industrial furnaces and specialized wireless equipments and instruments based on ceramic technology. The enterprise has 5 introduced production lines and 3 champion standard production lines, which enjoys complete product testing system and measure system. Shaanxi Huaxing Piezoresistor Factory is the first key professional manufacturer in the development and production of oxygen zinc piezoresistor, lightning arrester and ceramic materials and it also is the model in piezoresistor industry. Meanwhile, it is the secretary-chief unit of Pressure-Sensitive Industry Standardization Organization and the chairman unit of power pressure-sensitive institution. The general piezoresistor production line was the technology innovation project during the “Seventh Five-year Plan” period. It has totally invested 23 million Yuan and introduced the key equipments and instruments from Japan, USA and Taiwan to build a piezoresistor production line with annual capacity of 20 million pieces. The Factory now has 120 employees including 36 professional technicians. The R& D ability, technical strength and product quality rank the top in China in its kind. The factory has 73 sets of equipments and 27 sets of instruments and apparatus. It is planned to restructure Shaanxi Huaxing Piezoresistor Factory into a Sino-foreign joint venture co-funded by Shaanxi Huaxing Electronics Industry Co., Ltd, foreign-funded company and staffs. The planned registered capital of the new company is 5 million Yuan, of which Shaanxi Huaxing Electronics Industry Co., Ltd provides 1.8 million Yuan in kind, the introduced foreign capital is 1.6 million Yuan and the staff of the factory provides 1.6 million Yuan.
