Science & Technology Industrial Base

Xi’an Aerospace Science & Technology Industrial Base (ASTIB) is located in the southeast section of the Xi’an city. To its north is the Qujiang New district, its east the large acres of ecological forest, and its west the Chang’an city center, the geographical location of which, with its beautiful, prominent natural and human environment, has been an excellent place for business office and living residence. ASTIB plans to cover a total area of 22.19 square kilometers. The construction of ASTIB conforms to the five principles, which are “Overall planning, Environmental conservation, Clustering development, Openness and cooperation, and Efficient service” respectively. By adopting the policy of “one steady plan, different stages of development and marketing operation of management carried out fairly”, it is hoped that the park goes in an healthy, harmonious and sustainable manner. The primary development desired is between 2007 and 2010, and the total size of 5 square kilometers will be covered by Aerospace industrial zone, power semiconductor devices, solar photovoltaic, LED industry, research and outsourcing service area and residential area. The secondary development is between 2010 and 2020, with a total size of 10 square kilometers, which will be used to optimize and promote high-tech industrial development.

ASTIB will give full play to high-tech-based aerospace development and its application, information technology (including semiconductor functional devices, solar photovoltaic, LED, outsourcing), automotive spare part manufacturing, aerospace new materials and energies, and application of special aerospace industrial technology in the implementation of the 11th Five-Year-Plan. By means of building regional innovation and international cooperation platform, ASTIB accelerates the construction of internal industrial clustering and will finally become a base for cluster industries capable of high scientific and technological innovation, intense competitiveness, effective radiation, industry aggregation，high input-output ratio and  good brand recognition.

Three square kilometers of the land is designed for semiconductor, solar photovoltaics and LED within ASTIB. After the primary construction, the park is aimed to be the first-class high-tech region, able to combine semiconductor technology and production, processing and equipment research and development, together with product development and intellectual property rights. In the future the park will try various means such as optimizing the allocation of resources to achieve stronger technology innovation ability, to expand industry rapidly, to enlarge industrial scope, to improve industrial chain constantly, and to form better industrial clusters. ASTIB is expected to reach 30 billion of annual assets.
We will cooperate with international Venture Capitals to support the promising enterprises in various ways.
