Shaanxi’s GDP Grew 7.6% in the First Three Quarters

On October 22, the report was informed from the Press Conference held by Information Office of Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government that the total production value of Shaanxi reaches RMB1233.466 billion Yuan, growing 7.6% year on year, 0.7 and 0.3 percentage point faster than the first quarter and the first half of the year, and picks up on a quarterly basis.

The value-added of the first industry reached RMB77.914 billion Yuan, increasing 5.3%; that of the second industry reached RMB631.002 billion Yuan, rising by 6.9%and that of the third industry reached RMB524.550 billion Yuan, with an increase of 8.9%.

The agriculture production goes well steadily and the total grain output is expected to reach 12,337,600 tons this year.

The industrial production stabilizes during slow advance and the value added of the above-scale industries rose by 6.6% on a year-on-year basis.

The investment of fixed assests rises slowly. The fixed-asset investment throughout the province (excluding rural households) reached RMB1.3866 trillion Yuan with a year-on-year increase of 8.1%.

Consumer market runs smoothly. Shaanxi’s total retail sales of social consumer goods reached RMB467.05 billion Yuan, increasing 10.7%.

From January to September, the provincial fiscal revenue was RMB143.325 billion Yuan, increasing 11.16% year on year, and the financial expenditure was RMB305.142 billion Yuan, rising by 10.48%.

Foreign trade grows rapidly. The total volume of import and export amounted to RMB140.958 billion Yuan with a year-on-year increase of 14.9%.
