China and Brazil Sign the Two-year Action Plan of Service Cooperation in Trade

 

On August 1, during the 7th meeting of the BRICS trade ministers, Vice Minister of Commerce Wang Shouwen and Vice Minister of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services Marcelo Maia signed the MOU of Cooperation of Service in Trade between the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services of Brazil (Two-year Action Plan).

This Two-Year Action Plan is the specific measure of implementing the MOU of cooperation of trade in service between China and Brazil, defining that the two sides will devote to strengthening, promoting and developing the cooperation of trade in service in the fields, such as construction, project consultancy, project construction, information technology, e-commerce and bank automation, tourism, culture and Chinese medicine. Both sides will hold the promotion working group conferences of trade in service in turns and strengthen communication and interaction in the content of relevant cooperation.

The signing of the Two-year Action Plan will strongly promote the mutual cooperation in trade in service of the two countries, and will accumulate the advanced experience of the BRICS to enhance the cooperation in trade in service.
