MOFCOM and Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade Sign the Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of a Working Group for E-commerce Cooperation
 
 
On November 12, 2017, under the witness of General Secretary the CPC Central Committee and President Xi Jinping and the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong, Minister of Commerce Zhong Shan and the Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam Tran Tuan Anh signed the Memorandum of Understanding between China’s Ministry of Commerce and Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade on the Establishment of A Working Group for E-commerce Cooperation in Vietnam. This memorandum has confirmed to establish a working group for e-commerce under the framework of China-Vietnam Economic and Trade Cooperation Committee, and clarified the working group’s work details such as its goals, missions, members and working mechanism. Both sides will launch enterprise exchanges, trade in featured products, public and private dialogues, experience sharing and policy communication to further promote the cooperation and development of e-commerce between the two countries.
