Shaanxi to Hold the 45th WorldSkills Competition Qualification Trial

January 5th, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Shaanxi Province held a promotional meeting on the preparation of the 45th WorldSkills Competition to deploy works related to the qualification trail on the Shaanxi venue.

The 45th WorldSkills Competition is to be held in Kazan, Russia in 2019. Forty five Chinese projects are set to take part in the competition. In the Shaanxi qualification trial, sixteen competition venues will be set up across the province with twenty eight projects covering six sectors: Manufacturing and Engineering Technology, Construction and Building Technology, and Transportation and Logistics, etc. Two of the games, Mechatronics and Mobile Robotics, are team games, and the other twenty six including Welding are individual games. All the games are set in accordance with the technical documentation of the past WorldSkills games. It is stipulated that for individual games, no more than two persons are allowed per organization and for team games, one project per organization at most. The qualification trail starts on the second half of April 2018, and the sign-up period ends on April 15th.
