Xi'an opens first direct flight to Los Angeles

At preeent, the airport has offered 64 international flights, connecting it to 52 cities in 29 countries.

The new route, which runs twice a week, is operated by Hainan Airlines and makes use of the Boeing 787. The flight departs every Monday and Thursday, and takes about 12 hours.

The fight departs at 9 pm Beijing time and arrives in Los Angeles at 6:30 pm local time. The return flight departs at 11:30 pm local time and arrives in Xi'an at 5 am Beijing time.

The new flights links two international metropolises and major aviation hubs, building a convenient avenue for economic and trade exchanges between the two cities.

In recent years, the airport has been promoting the construction of a Shaanxi aviation hub in Northwest China by improving the quality of its services.

In the future, the airport plans to open more international flights, improve its international flight network and enrich its travel products in order to meet people's growing demand for air travel.
