Vice Ministerial Meeting of the 13th China-Japan Economic Partnership Consultation Held in Beijing

On April 3, the Vice Ministerial Meeting of the 13th China-Japan Economic Partnership Consultation was held in Beijing. Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce of China Qian Keming and Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Yamazaki Kazuyuki co-chaired the meeting. The two sides exchanged views on the macroeconomic situation of the world and of the two countries, China-Japan high-level economic dialogue, the two countries’ cooperation in trade, investment, third-party market, innovation, finance, environmental protection, pension and tourism, and regional and multilateral cooperation issues such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, the China-Japan-Korea Free Trade Zone, the WTO reforms, and the G20 Summit.


The Chinese delegation consists of the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the People's Bank of China, the General Administration of Customs, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the Office of the Cyberspace Affairs Commission, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission and China Securities Regulatory Commission. The Japanese delegation consists of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Ministry of the Environment, the Financial Services Agency, and Japan’s Embassy in China.
