China-Mongolia Expo Becoming the Important Platform for China-Mongolia Economic and Trade Exchanges

On September 6, the third China-Mongolia Expo, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Mongolian Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, kicked off in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Padma Choling, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.

 
The China-Mongolia Expo, which has been successfully held twice, is receiving more and more attention and results are becoming more and more pragmatically fruitful. It is becoming an important platform for promoting economic and trade exchanges between China and Mongolia.
 
Padma Choling, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, said that in recent years, the scale of China-Mongolia economic and trade cooperation has continued to expand and the level of cooperation has increased rapidly, bringing tangible benefits to the two peoples. China is willing to continue to employ its economic complementarity and geographical proximity to the Mongolia, align China's Belt and Road Initiative with Mongolia’s initiative for passage to grassland so as to promote more pragmatic results, and better benefit the two peoples.
 
Mongolian Vice Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin said that the results of the first two China-Mongolia Expos were very fruitful, and the Mongolian government and all walks of life are very much looking forward to the third China-Mongolia Expo. For the 3rd China-Mongolia Exposition, Mongolia has more than 1,200 representatives from various sectors of enterprises, science, literature and art. Everyone is looking forward to more achievements in this expo.
 
In addition, South Korea participated in this Expo as a guest country, and representatives from Russia, Japan, Israel and other countries also actively attended the event.
 
The current expo will be held for five days with the theme of "building the China-Russia Economic Corridor and promoting regional cooperation in Northeast Asia ". The Expo focuses on the fields of science and technology, economy, trade, agriculture, medicine, culture, etc.. It has set up four sessions, including conference forums, investment and trade promotion, exhibitions and cultural exchanges with diverse and exciting activities and contents. About 6,000 domestic and foreign guests and exhibitors are invited.
 
The China-Mongolia Expo is held every two years and is a new platform for trade, investment and tourism cooperation between China and Mongolia and even Northeast Asia. The first two expos attracted more than 4,000 Chinese and foreign companies, involving 200 billion yuan. This year's expo has surpassed the previous two in various specifications and standards, paying more attention to quality and effectiveness.
